This was most interesting as the thermometer showed -36° C in the morning when we headed for Turku. Luckily the temperature rose to an almost tropical -10°C during the day. Our car had no trouble with the extreme cold.
Irish Terriers were judged by Birgit Seloy from Denmark. Her pick for the BOB was our 14-months-old rascal Betirish Extraordinary Finland Star ”Churro”, who, thank you very much, needs to have a lot more training. We will be working on that during the show break. Our girl Myy from Holland a.k.a. Honeybird v. Irish Red was Best Bitch #2 with CC (goody!) and Fardarrigh Fit As A Fiddle (Nessa) BB #3 (well done!).
In Wirehaired Standard Dachshunds, our girl Fardarrigh Emerald Isle was Best Bitch #4 with CACIB. Her 6th show, and she has 6 Best Bitch placements. Well done, considering that there is always a big entry in this breed. Breed judged by Marion Finney, Ireland.
